The Community

Grand Cove is an established community located in Grand Bend, a lakeside village about 70 kilometers northwest of London, Ontario. For over 30 years, Grand Cove has grown and blossomed into a friendly place with homeowners who share a common goal in their desire for fellowship and enjoyment in their shared empty-nest stage of life. Homeowners at Grand Cove can expect a caring atmosphere with active community involvement.

The Neighbourhood

Grand Cove is a small, mature neighbourhood consisting of 450 bungalows in a beautifully landscaped setting surrounded by trees, a relaxing pond, and nearby walking trails. These single family homes offer a wonderful alternative to condo living in a friendly community where homeowners have a common interest as “empty nesters”. This land lease community has matured into a quaint little village where homeowners can be as busy or as carefree as they want. A short walk will get you to the sandy shores of Lake Huron while the city of London is only an hour away. This magnificently maintained neighbourhood displays our pride in this resort-like, adult lifestyle community.

Providing Grand Cove with myriad recreational possibilities helps community involvement grow. Many facilities in other communities remain unused and empty but Grand Cove is buzzing with activity! The clubhouse features a library, billiard and computer rooms, and fitness area. The outdoor facilities include a tennis court, outdoor saltwater pool, lawn bowling and shuffleboard. We even provide a woodworking shop for those who love to work with their hands. There is something for everyone here. And yes, your grandkids will love it too!

Grand Cove is nestled right next door to the town of Grand Bend, Ontario. Grand Bend is situated on 30 miles of continuous sandy beaches making it a “go to” place for summer vacations. It is a wonderful destination both to live and for family members to visit. Year-round activities keep locals entertained and develop a sense of community amoung its homeowners. A medical centre, churches, live theatre, many restaurants, local shops, antique stores, and many pristine golf courses are just a few more of the perks. This charming town offers the best of both worlds with the hustle and bustle in summertime and the peace and quiet on a winter’s evening.
